Peter Mastorakos has spent over 30 years painting in Sydney and around 10 of them running Paintcom, based in Belfield and working across metropolitan sydney.
The approach has not changed in that time. Anyone can put paint on a wall. The difference between a job that still looks good in eight years and one that peels in two is what happens before the first top coat — the inspection, the patching, the sealing, the undercoat, and the right system for the surface.
That is why every Paintcom job starts with a free on-site inspection rather than a price over the phone, and why the scope goes in writing before a brush is opened. It is also why Peter is the person who answers when you call — not a call centre, not a sales rep.

Inspect before we quote
Peter looks at the existing coating and the surfaces first — compatibility, flaking, water staining, mould, gaps and holes. That is where most early paint failures start, so that is where every job starts.
A fixed scope, in writing
You get a written scope and a fixed price before anything is opened. It only changes if you ask for work that was not in the original quote.
Premium systems, matched to the surface
Dulux, Wattyl, Taubmans. The right product for render, weatherboard, fibro, Colorbond or plasterboard — not one paint for everything.
Clean, on time, and communicated
A programme you were told about before we started, a site kept tidy and safe, and Peter answering his own phone.
A walkthrough before sign-off
The job is not done until you have walked through it with us and any touch-ups are handled.
