painting industry
Sydney painting done the way it should be
Paintcom is run by Peter Mastorakos, who has spent over30 years in the painting industry and around 10 of them running this business. Peter quotes every job himself, and he is the person you call if anything needs attention afterwards.
The approach is simple and it has not changed: inspect properly, prepare properly, use a premium system matched to the surface, and do not call the job finished until the customer has walked through it.
- Residential, strata, real estate, commercial, industrial and high-access work
- Premium Dulux, Wattyl, Taubmans systems, selected per surface
- Free on-site inspection and a fixed written scope
- Clean, safe sites and a walkthrough before sign-off

Fixed
scope and price, agreed before we start
Honest, reliable, clean and on time
From minor works to major projects, the same straightforward approach — planned properly, carried out with care, finished with a walkthrough.
Preparation first, always
We inspect the existing coating before we quote — compatibility, flaking, water staining, mould, gaps and holes. Nearly every early paint failure starts there.
A fixed scope in writing
Once the scope is agreed the price is fixed. It only changes if you ask for work that was not in the original quote.
We turn up when we say
Clear communication, a site kept clean and safe, and a programme you were told about before we started.
A walkthrough before sign-off
The job is not done until you have seen it and any touch-ups are handled. If workmanship shows a problem later, Peter comes back.
Three steps, no surprises
Request a quote or call Peter
Book a free on-site inspection. We confirm your suburb, the property type and the timeframe that suits you.
Inspection, then a clear scope and price
We inspect the existing coating and the surfaces, flag anything that will cause problems later, and put a fixed scope and price in writing.
Prep, paint, then a final walkthrough
We protect the space, prepare properly, and finish in two premium top coats — then walk through it with you and handle any touch-ups before sign-off.
Committed to quality painting

Common questions
What areas of Sydney do you cover?
We paint across Metropolitan Sydney — from the inner west and eastern suburbs out through the north shore, the Hills, south Sydney and the western suburbs. Peter is based in Belfield. If you are not sure whether your suburb is covered, call and ask.
Is the on-site quote really free?
Yes. There is no call-out fee and no obligation. Peter inspects the job, talks through what it needs, and gives you a written scope and a fixed price.
How long has Paintcom been painting in Sydney?
Peter has over 30 years in the painting industry and has run Paintcom for around 10 years.
What paint brands do you use?
Premium systems from Dulux, Wattyl, Taubmans, matched to the surface and the conditions rather than using one product for everything. The right system is what stops a repaint peeling early.
Do you do both residential and commercial work?
Both. Houses and units, strata and body corporate buildings, real estate turnarounds, offices and retail, light industrial, and high-access areas that need a lift rather than a ladder.
What happens if I am not happy with something?
We do not call a job finished until you have walked through it with us and any touch-ups are done. If something to do with our workmanship shows up after the paint has fully cured, call Peter and he will come back and fix it.
